Electric Grill for Balcony and Terrace: How to Choose the Right EcoGrill Home Model

Modern design of the EcoGrill Home electric grill

Grilling used to mean a garden, a bag of charcoal and a lot of patience. Today more and more people want the taste of barbecue on a balcony, a terrace or in a small yard. An electric grill makes that possible: no open flame, no charcoal to light, and a ready-to-use grill in about five minutes. Here is how to choose the right EcoGrill Home model for your space and the way you cook.

Why an electric grill for urban living?

EcoGrill Home is a single-phase electric grill: it connects to a standard 230 V socket and needs no gas cylinder or fuel storage. A unique heating grid technology brings the grill to operating temperature in about 5 minutes, and an average meal is ready in around 10 minutes. That makes it practical for a quick weekday dinner as well as for weekend guests.

The built-in thermostat lets you set the temperature from 50°C to 320°C, so you can adapt the grill to different foods: from vegetables and fish to steaks and burgers. The ribbed heating surface lets excess fat drain through the grid into the collection tray.

Three models, three ways of grilling

EG Home S is the compact choice for couples and small balconies. Dimensions are 540×350×180 mm, the heating surface is 370×250 mm, power is 2.2 kW and net weight is 10 kg. It grills up to about 4 kg of meat per hour.

EG Home L adds length for families and regular guests: 740×350×180 mm, a 570×250 mm heating surface, 2.4 kW and 12 kg net weight, with about 6 kg of meat per hour.

EG Home X is the most versatile model. It offers two heating zones and a 330×570 mm heating surface, 2.8 kW of power and about 12 kg of grilled meat per hour. Two zones let you cook different foods at different temperatures at the same time. It is available with or without a stand.

What to check before you buy

Start with the space: measure the spot on your balcony or terrace and compare it with the model dimensions. Check that a 230 V single-phase socket is within reach of the power cord, and think about whether you prefer a grill with a stand or one that sits on your own table or outdoor kitchen. Before use on a balcony, it is also worth checking your building rules and local regulations.

Finally, consider how many people you usually cook for. S is ideal for one to two people, L for families, and X when you want two zones and a larger surface.

Easy to clean, built to last

EcoGrill Home is made of Inox AISI 304 stainless steel, a material known for durability and resistance. A professional cleaning set is included with the device, so regular cleaning after grilling stays simple and quick.
